ANZAC DAY

This ANZAC Day, Friday 25th April, we invite our local community to come together and honour the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It's a day to reflect, remember, and show our respect for those who served.

5:00 AM – 5AM Club opens for ABC TV dawn service.

10:45 AM – Assemble on the green for the main ceremony.

11:00 AM – The official commemorative ceremony begins:

  • Welcome address and introduction of our guest speaker

  • Commemorative address by the guest speaker

  • Laying of the wreath by the Presidents of the Men's and Women's Bowling Clubs

  • Recitation of 'The Ode', led by the guest speaker

  • The Last Post played

  • One minute's silence

  • Reveille played

  • Raising of the National Flag by a HHBC member

11:30 AM – Lozzi open for lunch. Be sure to book your spot and enjoy a meal after the ceremony.

2:00 PM – Two-Up commences. Come along, participate, and enjoy the festivities.

We invite everyone to come together in remembrance, support your community, and enjoy a day of camaraderie and tradition.
